• How do I add international dialing and messaging to my account? Is roaming included? +

  Contact us to add the International Services feature to your account in order to make international calls.
  
  For texting internationally, if you have the Text Messaging service by UScellular^® on your account, you’re all set to go.
  
  If you are roaming and place an international call with another carrier, you will have access to the countries available through that carrier. The call will be rated according to the International toll rates charged by that carrier, plus airtime and applicable roaming charges and taxes.
• How do I make international calls or text someone in a different country? +

  We make calling and texting internationally super easy.
  
  To get started:

  • Dial the international access code 011.
  • Enter the appropriate country code.
  • Dial the number you are calling.
    -If you’re sending a text message, enter message and press "SEND."
• Which countries can I call and send text messages? +

  Right now, you can call over 200 countries and send texts to over 100 countries.
  
  We’ve made it easy to find all available country codes on our website: View country list and codes.
  
  Note: Country availability is subject to change. Messaging is available to certain wireless carriers' customers within a country. Please verify both country and carrier for messaging.
• How much does it cost to make international calls and text messages? +

  International call rates vary based on country. Most are priced at a per minute rate for international toll, plus airtime and applicable charges and taxes. For prices visit: International long-distance plan rates and country codes.
  
  International Messaging is priced the same as domestic messaging.
  
  Note: UScellular per-minute rates are subject to change. Per minute rates only available from a customer's local UScellular home calling area. Taxes, long distance, toll, and other charges may apply. Other restrictions and limitations may apply.
• Can I dial internationally from anywhere in the United States? How will such calls be billed? +

  You sure can. If you’re located in your home 'footprint' and place an international call, then the call will be billed at the UScellular per minute rate for international toll, plus airtime and applicable charges and taxes.
  
  If you are roaming and place an international call with another carrier, you will have access to the countries available through that carrier. The call will be rated according to the International toll rates charged by that carrier, plus airtime and applicable roaming charges and taxes.
• Are calls into Canada or Mexico considered international calls? +

  Yes. However, we offer many plans, including all of our Unlimited plans, with calls to Mexico and Canada included.
• Can I block access to only certain countries? +

  Right now, we’re only able to block access to international calling altogether. We’re currently unable to block access to specific countries.

Things we want you to know: You may add International Travel to your account after completing 3 months of continuous service. Your account must also be in good standing. The International Travel option may be cancelled at any time by dialing 611 domestically or +1-865-777-8484 internationally, a free call from a UScellular wireless phone. Day Passes reset at midnight Central Time in the U.S. regardless of the local time in your destination, thus any usage of data, voice or text after midnight Central time in the U.S. will invoke another day pass. Country availability and rates are subject to change without notice. UScellular per-minute rates are subject to change without notice and do not apply to UScellular’s Prepaid service. Customers on Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) plans will be charged PAYG data rates. Data services may be suspended after incurring $120 in data overage charges. UScellular reserves the right to interrupt or discontinue services due to suspected fraud or abuse. Service usage charges will vary according to your price plan.
